High temperature bearing

High temperature bearings are designed specifically for high-temperature working conditions, capable of long-term stable operation in environments above 150 ° C. Some special models can even withstand extreme temperatures above 1000 ° C. They are widely used in metallurgy, glass, chemical, aerospace and other fields to solve the problem of common bearings being prone to failure at high temperatures.

  1. High temperature resistance performance: Ordinary bearings (such as carbon steel bearings) are generally only suitable for temperatures between -30 ° C and 120 ° C. Exceeding this temperature can cause damage due to material softening and lubrication failure. High temperature bearings can operate for a long time at 150 ° C~800 ° C (or even higher), and some special bearings (such as ceramic bearings) can withstand temperatures above 1000 ° C.
  2. Special material：Ring and rolling elements: Made of high-temperature resistant steel (such as Cr4Mo4V), stainless steel (such as 440C), high-temperature alloys (such as Inconel 718), or ceramics (Si ∝ N ₄, ZrO ₂).
    Retainers: typically made of stainless steel, brass, polyimide (PI), or special alloys such as Monel alloy.
  3. Special lubrication method：
    Ordinary lubricating grease will oxidize, evaporate, or coke at high temperatures, leading to lubrication failure.
    High temperature bearings adopt:
    Solid lubrication (such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide coating).
    High temperature lubricating grease (such as perfluoropolyether PFPE, silicone grease).
    Self lubricating design (such as oil retaining frame).
  4. Strong thermal stability: Dimensional stability at high temperatures, not easily deformed, avoiding jamming or significant changes in clearance.
